This is how to replace the chuck on a cordless Dewalt drill and also how to finish the job when it all goes tits up. This is the prefect way to show why I normally recommend using a grinder to cut the chucks of drills like this. It dose mater what method you use, if that chuck doesn't want to come of, then you are going to end up causing damage to something. Lucking a second hand gearbox gets me out of this hole, as the costumer was coming straight back for this drill. But otherwise you will have to replace the spindle and also remove the old chuck with a grinder anyway.
