Auf der Suche nach ihren Schwimmbrillen entdecken Gene und seine Geschwister im Elternschlafzimmer einen Diamantring. Als ihre Mutter sie dort erwischt, steckt sich Gene in seiner Panik den Ring an den Finger, um ihn zu verstecken. Dummerweise kann er ihn nicht wieder entfernen, und so muss er mit dem wertvollen Stück zu dem geplanten Badeausflug aufbrechen. Natürlich dauert es nicht lange, bis er den Ring verliert. Ist damit der Hochzeitstag von Bob und Linda ruiniert?
