Welcome to Study With a Doctor—a live, weekly space where we lock in, get focused, and build momentum together. I’m JR Smith, an orthopedic surgery resident at The Mayo Clinic, and this is my way of staying consistent with my work. Each session runs for 2-4 hours, broken down into focused Pomodoro cycles: 45 minutes of deep work, 15 minutes to rest, reset, and maybe a little chat with whoever is live.
