The higher your security skill the slower the pin movements will be when picking a lock, this makes it easier to lock the pin in position compared to when there moving faster (at lower levels). In todays Oblivion Remaster Beginners guide I will show you how to level up the security skill to level 100 in minutes! But it's actually not very efficient to do so since it levels up your overall character level which makes the enemies around you harder to defeat, while you get no combat advantage, overall this makes you feel weaker.
