Chained under Mobutu, the West’s chosen strongman, who looted billions while his people starved. And chained once more in the wars that killed millions, as foreign armies and corporations fought over Congo’s land, its gold, its diamonds, its coltan, its cobalt. This is not chaos. This is not misfortune. This is the most organized exploitation the modern world has ever known and it continues today, hidden behind silence and polished supply chains.
