In this video, our canoeing adventure along the Great Glen canoe trail in Scotland begins. Carrying all of our gear for the trip, we paddle along the Caledonian Canal and into the vast Loch Lochy where, after a taste of Scottish heavy rain and squally gusts, we spend our first night wild camping on a small shingle beach - a hearty dinner, a few laughs around the campfire and the sound of the waves lapping onto the shore to lull us off to sleep. There are twelve of us on this trip, attempting to raise money for the Alzheimers Society.
