On December 22nd, 1928, the Danish training ship København sent her last wireless message. The massive, fire-masted barque was a marvel of engineering and shipbuilding, one of the finest ships afloat at the time. After a final, routine message, she vanished without a trace. What happened to the ship and the 59 souls on board remains a mystery to this day.
