Here, Stalter reveals how one Zoom call with Lena Dunham led to her landing the role of Jessica, a workaholic who ditches the busy city life (and her ex) for London where she meets a charming Brit named Felix, played by Will Sharpe. Apart from Jessica’s sexuality (Megan is bisexual and is in a relationship with her girlfriend Maddie), the actress says they have a lot in common… From “lesbian hair” to embarrassing moments on set 💩, breaking and entering 👀 and speaking (read: trying to speak) French, nothing was off limits in this candid conversation. On what it was like to work alongside Sharpe, who she says is like her “brother”, “son” (and in the case of the show, her boyfriend), Stalter was pleasantly surprised.
