Video Description

Cutting through a shroud of dense fog, the 42nd Soviet Army surges forward, the figures of its soldiers emerging across the icy fields as they close in on the entrenched German divisions. For over two years, they have kept Leningrad under siege. Now, the time for reckoning has come. The Soviet offensive launches a coordinated assault; 220,000 shells cascade over the enemy.
