Breaking multiple powerlifting records while regularly hitting totals over 2,000 pounds, setting a deadlift record with two torn hamstrings, winning World’s Strongest Man with a torn pec, and becoming the first man to bench 661 pounds raw in an IPF meet, Kaz was unstoppable. So unstoppable that he wasn’t invited to compete in World’s Strongest Man for five years after winning the title three consecutive times. From playing psychological games with other competitors, intimidating judges, suing another strongman for claiming he was the strongest in the world, to nearly killing his partner in one of the contests, Kaz had a darker side, which many theorized was the reason he wasn’t invited back to compete.
