Today’s video is one of the most emotional and life-changing projects I’ve ever been a part of. A few weeks ago, I introduced you to Miss Kitty a woman with a heart of gold who’s been holding her family together through some really tough times. When I first met her, I never could have imagined how much of an impact this community would have on her life. I set up a GoFundMe hoping we could raise maybe $5,000 to help with her electrical and appliance issues… but you all showed up in the biggest way possible. Together, we raised just under $40,000! Because of your generosity, not only were we able to fix the electrical problems in her home, but we were able to do so much more plumbing repairs, laundry service, new handrails for her steps, and more. This video shows the backyard cleanup I promised her, but it’s about so much more than mowing. It’s about community. It’s about love. And it’s about the power of what happens when people come together to help someone in need.
