Interesting videos. That's my goal. Living on a farm, I have become a jack of all trades, so many will be building, restoring, homesteading, and farming type videos, but I'm not limiting myself in this silly description. I'll post any darn video that I feel like! Of course, I feel like posting interesting ones, so I hope you find them interesting as well! Enjoy! Want to send me something? Video Description
I've been working on this one for over a year. Huge job, but quite rewarding in the end. I set up temporary supports, tear out the old porch including the brick piers. I then dig holes and pour new concrete footings. New brick piers are laid, and new treated wood framing is constructed. I top that off with a shop made white oak tongue and groove floor, and paint it with linseed oil paint. Then lots of custom woodworking to make bases for the columns, and repair rotten areas. I put the weight back on the columns, remove the temporary supports, and then finish up with painting, caulking, replacing the stairs and making some big round-over molding. Phew! My total cost was about $3200. Saved a lot of money, spent a LOT OF HOURS! ;-) MERCH STORE!: https://www.farmcraft101.com Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/FarmCraft101 Amazon Affiliate Storefront: https://www.amazon.com/shop/farmcraft101 Buy me a coffee: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/farmcraft101 Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/FarmCraft101/ Evolution power tools affiliate link: (promo code: Farmcraft) http://aspireiq.go2cloud.org/aff_c?offer_id=5959&aff_id=16043 Save 5% for yourself and also help out the channel.
