If you really wanna see France, you've gotta get out into the country. The country is overflowing with historical places to explore. We're talking World War 2 and the beaches of Normandy. The Hundred Years War and Joan of Arc in Rouen. The Battle of Tours/Poitiers, one of Europe's most legendary battles. There are languages you've probably never heard of, like Breton, spoken in the Brittany region. And finally, if you go deep enough, you may even stumble upon France's Brest, on the far western tip.
