Today’s video is all about taking our sled-pulling Kenworth to the next level. We installed a much larger turbo, upgraded the suspension, and made a few key changes to get ready for some serious competition. Even though we were the only semi truck at this local event, the crowd absolutely loved it — and we put on one heck of a show! We gained nearly 800 more horsepower over our previous setup, pushing the truck close to 2600 HP, but we also discovered the limits of some engine components. At one point, we saw over 2200°F exhaust gas temperature, which means it’s time to go back to the shop and make a few changes before the next pull.
