We visited the smallest active volcano in the world which is located in the middle of lake Taal in the province of Batangas in the Southeast Asian country of the Philippines. This volcano erupted over 50 times in modern history with its last eruption being in 2020 which caused the full evacuation of the Taal Volcano island. The seven villages previously located around Taal volcano where destroyed by lava and other volcanic debris causing the Philippine government to prohibit everyone to step foot on the island.
