We Were Wrong About Our Minds—And AI

I’m an interdisciplinary researcher working in investigative journalism, contributing more than 80 science and tech news stories to Forbes. I report on artificial intelligence, consciousness research, complexity science, theory of mind, the evolution of intuition, emergent cognition and collective intelligence, regardless of architecture or substrate. Drawing on this reporting, I authored SupraAD, a proposal for AI alignment to safely co-exist with autonomous, hyperintelligent machines.
