This project is incredibly close to my heart, a two-year journey designing and building a brand-new Gothic Revival-inspired guest house, nestled on beautiful Indiana family farmland. From the beginning, the goal wasn’t just to build a home, it was to create something that felt like a warm, familiar embrace. A place that felt like it had been here for generations. Inspired by the memory of a beloved woman known as “Granny,” who lived on this land into her nineties, I imagined the house she might’ve kept. Where doors stayed open, stories were shared, and generations gathered to rest and reconnect. Every inch of this home is layered with history and intention, from the preserved gingerbread millwork to antique lighting, cut velvet upholstery, and reimagined vintage finds that bring soul to every corner. I can’t wait to walk you through each space and share the thoughtful details that bring this story to life. Let the tour begin!
