Pricing for the BMW iX begins at $88,425 and can reach $112,675, depending on selected trims and options. In Europe, the starting prices for the new BMW iX models are as follows: - BMW iX xDrive40: approximately €77,300 - BMW iX xDrive50: approximately €102,800 - BMW iX M60: approximately €125,355 Fuel consumption in the official WLTP test cycle has improved by over 8 per cent (under optimal conditions, depending on model and equipment), thanks to ongoing refinement of performance electronics, along with enhancements to wheel bearings and tyres. For the new BMW iX xDrive60, this equates to a range increase of roughly 60 kilometres (37 miles). Major markets for the new BMW iX include the USA, UK, and Germany. Production will continue at the BMW Group plant in Dingolfing. The exterior of the new BMW iX exhibits a bold presence with a monolithic stance, characteristic SAV proportions, and a minimalist design language with clean surfaces. The front end is particularly distinguished by a redesigned BMW kidney grille featuring a fine frame and an interior structure of vertical and diagonal lines. The BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille with contour lighting, standard on the new BMW iX M70 xDrive, is now optionally available. The headlights have been updated to include vertical elements for both daytime running lights and turn indicators. Standard equipment now includes adaptive LED headlights with a cornering light function and new city lights. Diagonal lines in the headlight covers mirror the grille's structural design. When configured with the optional M Sport package Pro, the new BMW iX features dark M Shadow Line headlights and rear lights. The top-tier variant of the series stands out even further. The new BMW iX M70 xDrive comes equipped as standard with design features from both the M Sport package and M Sport package Pro, including a unique BMW kidney grille with M logo, black exterior mirror caps, and exclusive 22-inch M light-alloy wheels. The BMW iX xDrive60 offers a 15 kW/21 hp increase, reaching 400 kW/544 hp, and sprints from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 4.6 seconds. Both models maintain an electronically limited top speed of 200 km/h (124 mph). The new BMW iX M70 xDrive provides even more captivating performance. In My Mode Sport, it delivers up to 485 kW/659 hp and a peak torque of 1,100 Nm (811 ft-lb) with Launch Control activated. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.8 seconds, or 3.5 seconds using the “1-foot rollout” method*. Its top speed is 250 km/h (155 mph). Battery technology has also been significantly upgraded. The BMW iX xDrive45 now features a high-voltage battery with around 30 per cent more energy capacity, reaching 94.8 kWh. Other models include batteries with usable energy content of 109.1 kWh (BMW iX xDrive60) and 108.9 kWh (BMW iX M70 xDrive). All variants also benefit from new inverter technology in their power electronics, improving the drive system's power density. This enhancement contributes to efficient energy transfer from the high-voltage battery to the electric motor. Combined with the increased battery capacity in the BMW iX xDrive45 and other efficiency improvements, range has increased by up to 40 per cent depending on the model. The BMW iX xDrive60 now offers a WLTP range between 563 and 701 kilometres (350 to 435 miles), setting a new standard.
