About

Welcome to the DIRT WORLD! Follow along with Aaron Witt as he travels worldwide to explore the people and projects that keep our world moving (the Dirt World). None of us could live even one day without food, water, power, and shelter; each is no accident! Whether you're curious about how the world works, want to know more about careers in the Dirt World, or have some crazy kids who love watching machines work, we hope you enjoy the channel! What is BuildWitt? We're making the Dirt World better every day through field-first software, our annual Ariat Dirt World Summit leadership event, and the storytelling you see here. Video Description

In the mountains outside of Canberra, Australia, lie enormous pine plantations, which help provide Australians with critical goods like lumber for houses and pulp for toilet paper. But there's a problem—much of the pine that should be there is missing... Due to the enormous bushfires of 2019-2020, much of the pine that was nearly old enough for harvesting was vaporized. Fortunately, Forestrack has the reset button in the form of incredible machines and hard work. Thanks to their fleet of dozers and excavators, they clear the hillsides of debris and rip the earth, ultimately preparing it for hundreds of thousands of new trees. It's always a blast visiting these lads!! And a huge thank you to our channel sponsor ARIAT! Check out their boots (which I wear every video), workwear, and more here: https://www.ariat.com/work
