After fifteen years of dreaming and gradually working towards making this possible, we stand at the beginning of a new chapter. Our path has led us to a dilapidated farmstead nestled in the rolling hills of the breathtaking Langhe area in Piemonte, Italy. This week, we put our new wood chipper to the test and use the results to start no-dig vegetable beds. Between chopping and mulching, we also take a walk through the landscape, bake a cake, and enjoy the rhythm of life at the farm. We're Isis & Bertus, a belgian-dutch couple. In the summer of 2023 we moved into a neglected farmhouse in a tiny village in the northwest of Italy.
