Dark Souls, But I use a Different "Terrible" Infusion Each Cycle!

So, back when I first started doing these multi cycle runs, my goal was to test out a lot of different mechanics and builds in the Souls games I’d never used while executing them in a challenge run format. Well, one thing I can say I’ve never really used in these games are infusions, most specifically what I like to call the tier 2 infusions. These are the infusions that can only be made when you’ve already infused your weapon with something else. So in the first cycle, we’ll be using the enchanted infusion, only available once you’ve already got a plus 5 magic infused weapon. For the new game plus cycle, I’ll only be using the Occult infusion, only available once you’ve got a plus 5 divine weapon. Then for the final cycle in new game plus plus, I’ll be using the Chaos infusion, only available once you’ve got a weapon with a plus 5 fire infusion. Now, let’s address what you’re probably thinking. “But JK, you’re just going to beat the game with an infused weapon? That doesn’t sound like much of a challenge.” Well, this may surprise you, but this run actually ended up being possibly the most painful Dark Souls 1 multi cycle run yet. Why?
