I don’t want my husband to know…” while the guy is framed as the rational one who lectures his wife for overspending. It’s yet another trend that’s equating girlhood to shopping addictions and traffics in dangerous stereotypes that women are emotionally frivolous and childlike and men as inherently wise and mature.
