The Lafleur family was plunged into a nightmare of uncertainty, searching for answers that seemed impossible to find. **But the nightmare didn’t end there. It was only the beginning.** Nearly six years later, in May 2017, a dark and disturbing confession emerged that would shock everyone who knew Dale. Philip Foster Lafleur, Dale’s 23-year-old grand-nephew, was already in custody for another gruesome murder. Philip had been arrested for the 2015 killing of Akeem Adiddias Ceasar, who had gone missing from Eunice, Louisiana. While in custody, Philip made a chilling admission: he was responsible for the murder of his great-uncle, Dale Lafleur. The confession was as cold-blooded as it was horrifying.
