Set in the 1950s, The Crooked Man follows Hellboy and Bobbie Jo, a rookie agent from the Bureau for Paranormal Research and Defense (BPRD). While transporting a mischievous magical spider that derails their mission, they find themselves stranded in rural Appalachia.
