Hopefully this extra long video makes up for my absence in the last few weeks. 😊 Crinolines: the iconic fashion that swept the world by storm in the mid 1850s and held it in a death grip until well in to the 1860s. Far from being relegated to wealthy women or "in town” or “best dress”, they quickly overtook women and were seen in town, in churches, in factories, on farms, and out west.
