(1) The motherboard is bad and needs to be replaced. Let me know if you would like help finding a compatible motherboard. Or (2) there is another computer component, shorting out the motherboard and need to be replaced such as the power jack, USB board, Touchpad, etc. You would have to troubleshoot each of those individually by unhooking it from the motherboard and trying to turn the computer on. Model Specific Info: Lenovo Thinkpad T460s - There is a small battery reset pinhole under the computer that can reset the battery if the computer is not charging or turning on that can help in some cases. Also, many Lenovos have a NOVA button / Pin-hole reset button that can help. Try that if the power drain doesnt help. (updated 7/25)
