How to Use Inline Queries in Microsoft Access

In this video, we learn about the power of inline queries in our Microsoft Access database. With this feature, we can often combine several statements into one powerful query instead of creating and tracking many separate objects for the same purpose. Inline queries allow us to add detail into our queries that we could not do easily before. Additionally, inline queries can speed up slow queries on larger datasets by filtering data before a join between tables occurs. Inline queries are incredibly flexible and powerful. For example, even though Common Table Expressions or CTE are not supported in MS Access, you can often use an inline query instead for the same purpose.
