What was supposed to be a boost to her confidence didn’t work out as planned. Little was she to know this was only the beginning of a long, painful journey to achieve the 'perfect' body through cosmetic procedures. She told Hooked on the Look: "I've flown abroad four times for plastic surgery and they've all gone wrong. In total, I've spent about £15,000." After her chest surgery, Krystal's attention turned downwards to her nether region. She explained, "I decided to start getting plastic surgery after seeing Nicki Minaj. She had the nicest bum, it was so round and just perfect. When Nicki Minaj came out, everybody was getting illegal butt injections, but I was broke at the time, so I couldn't do it. I paid for my surgery by doing hair, putting in a lot of work. So I started to save up, and within about five years, I got my first BBL. I've had three BBLs, a tummy tuck, breast implants and uplifts, my teeth done, two butt fillers and had lip fillers." Krystal went viral on TikTok after posting a video of her crying just after her latest BBL, which led to her receiving huge amounts of critical comments. These included, "you should have died", "I hope they took your kidney", and "social media got this generation so messed up."
