Today I walk around Kuta and Legian, Bali, where i have to organize a bus ticket to Ubud, change some money and prepare for the next part of the trip. A tattoo studio in legian allows me to talk with them and ask about their business, how much rent is, how long they've been there...with one employee telling me about her job. We stop and witness the demolition of a building making way for the new hotel at Kuta Town Houses where an excavator works coming into contact with overhead power lines. On the beach I meet Julian, a man from Peru living in Australia visiting Bali for the first time. He works for Qantas as a baggage handler and I ask him what sort of discount he gets working for Australia's national airline carrier. A young Italian woman tells me of her travels and experience of Bali, and we also jam with some locals on Legian beach. it's a great walk around Kuta and Legian in Bali
