Right now you can get up to a $900 discount on a brand new Galaxy S25 Ultra along with a free storage upgrade if you trade-in a last year's S24 Ultra in good condition. If you do the math that's actually more of an $1100 discount, but there's a catch to make it impulsive. The deal only lasts during this pre-order period, and you bet this is far less attractive if this is an S23 Ultra, or nearly half the offer if you behave like most consumers. The question is if it's even worth it? Has the Galaxy S25 Ultra changed enough to warrant that $400 premium? Heck, what if some of those changes go against things you care about? There's only one way to find out. On one corner we have the Galaxy S25 Ultra, what Samsung calls as Simple, Impactful, and what I'm gonna call my favorite Ultra design since its inception. On the other we have the Galaxy S24 Ultra, what some called the best phone of 2024, even if in all honestly, it was my least favorite.
