OnePlus 13 VS Galaxy S25+ - Unfair?

s there really such a thing as a fair comparison? By definition fair means "impartial and just, without favoritism or discrimination." and comparison is "a consideration or estimate of the similarities or dissimilarities between two things or people. In smartphones what we have is categories, which usually match in price points. There's entry-level, mid-ranger, premium, flagship, and I'm not even sure what to call the categories beyond, but you get my point. The best way to approach a comparison is land as fair within a category as possible, right?   Well, what happens when there's a company who's made a name for itself by blurring those lines? They give you flagship characteristics, but not flagship prices. Would you want me to sit here and not do the comparison because it's technically not fair? If you think of it, as consumers you're only benefited by those specific cases where one company challenges the other somehow, and seriously, I think we're at a point where its every company's problem to make sure its offerings are competitive or not. (use category table)   On one corner we have the OnePlus 13, what the company calls as Extreme Performance that endures, and what I consider to be one of the hardest phones to beat this year. On the other we have the Galaxy S25 Plus, what Samsung calls as Simple, Impactful, even if maybe a bit too much of the first? I'm Jaime Rivera, and I already know what you're thinking.
