🇯🇵 A Perfect Day in Kanazawa, Japan: https://youtu.be/TKFOzNTrWwk 👉 SUBSCRIBE for more: https://www.youtube.com/@MarkWiens Soba is one of the greatest noodle traditions in Japan, and I’ve really grown to appreciate a hand made Japanese soba, and the quality and simplicity of it. So I got a little obsessed with soba on my latest trip to Japan, and that lead us to a little road trip into the mountains to try some of the best hand-made soba in Japan. Okuhida Treasure Soba (奥飛騨 寳そば), Gifu, Japan (https://maps.app.goo.gl/rtcQh1y7emdWtPQQ9) - Zaru Soba - Cold Soba & Vegetable Tempura - they grow their own buckwheat and make their own soba, and grow their own wasabi, probably the best soba I’ve had in my life. Price - 2,200 JPY ($14.63) for my set Fukuden Soba (そば処 福伝), Nagano, Japan (https://maps.app.goo.gl/DyFymANLr1cfa7UC6) - This place specializes in Touji Soba - Soup Dipped Soba. Price - 1,600 JPY ($10.55) per person Tsuzumi-Soba & Ramen (https://maps.app.goo.gl/eTYoHEf1jWfuUhQ26), Takayama, Japan - I had wanted to eat one more soba, but unfortunately they all close in the early afternoon, so we headed back to Takayama and ate chuko soba. Price - 1,500 JPY ($9.97) for my bowl Do you love Japanese soba?
