Write in the comments! ► Feel free to write ideas for future Projects in the comments! Hey folks, in this Video I restored an old Tobacco Cutter! I think its from the 1950´s regarding to the screws and the way it was built. The Cutter has a feeding mechanism which feeds the Tobacco plants into the cutting wheel by turning the wheel. The 'pressure roll' holds all the plants in place and presses them on the feeding roll. The restoration contains powder coating of cast iron parts, a lot of polishing, sanding, nickel plating, knife sharpening and also wood work. Some parts were restored off cam (screws and pins). The final test shows that the Tobacco Cutter now works pretty fine again! Thanks you fine people! ♥
