The PERFECTLY Intertwined Story Of Grand Theft Auto IV And It's Spin-offs

So a while back, I made a video discussing the shared universe of the Grand Theft Auto games through the entirety of the 6th generation of gaming. Encapsulating everything from GTA III all the way through until GTA vice City stories. It was a large series of individual plots that were interconnected with recurring characters and background details, going from 1984 to 2001 in universe. I made the observation that it's disappointing that current Day Grand Theft Auto doesn't have the same level of connectivity. But that's mostly due to the fact that there's only been a small handful of GTA games since they moved to the HD era in 2008 with GTA iv. To the point that a game from 2008 can still be considered modern gta. But with that said I also wouldn't even necessarily say that the HD universe isn't intertwined at all, there is som intertwining, but in a different way. Because Grand Theft Auto 4 and it's two spin-offs, The lost and the damned starring Johnny Klebitz, and the ballad of gay Tony starring Luis Lopez has one of my favorite intertwined plots possibly ever. #GTA #gtaiv #gta4
