So far the Winter has been inviting me to live a little more gently, and in today’s video I’m sharing what that has looked like for me lately — focusing on community, simple movement, and creating warmth at home. I am sharing more about the challenge I’m doing alongside my closest friends and my sister, encouraging one another to move a little each day and stay connected through Bible study. It’s not about doing more or doing it perfectly — just about showing up together in ways that feel meaningful. I’m also sharing my favorite cozy chicken noodle soup recipe, a few snippets of gentle movement, and a small Aldi haul, all while keeping that slow, comforting winter pace. I hope this video feels encouraging. Once the butter has melted add the carrots, celery, and onion, and cook for 5 to 7 minutes or until soft. Add garlic, basil, a teaspoon of salt and a quarter teaspoon of black pepper stir to coat. Cook for one minute until the herbs are fragrant then add all too this to a large pot, add the broth, bay leaves, and bouillon and parley and bring to a boil Add the egg noodles and return to boil Reduce the heat to medium and gently boil for five minutes. Add the chicken in gently and continue to boil for 5 to 7 more minutes as long as needed until the egg noodles are tender.
