Sauce: Pork ribs Beef ribs Hot sausage Sweet sausage 3 - 28 oz. cans of crushed tomatoes 3 - 28 oz. cans of tomato sauce 3 - 28 oz. cans of tomato puree tomato paste 12oz. Dried or fresh basil 1 squeeze of ketchup Garlic cloves S & P Pecorino Romano cheese Garlic powder Onion powder Parsley 3 Bay Leaves Italian seasoning Sauce: Add olive oil to the bottom of large sauce pot. Brown Italian hot & sweet sausage, pork lion country ribs & beef ribs. After the meat is browned take it out of the pot and set aside. Add paste to the meat drippings then add the cans of puree, sauce and crushed tomatoes and a squeeze of ketchup. Season with Pepper, basil, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, Italian seasoning and Pecorino Romano cheese (cover the entire top of sauce with all of these spices & cheese). Add browned meats and partially cooked meatballs to the sauce and cook for 2 - 3 hours. ( Taste throughout & add spices again according to your taste!) 🎄 Cozy Cranberry Orange Christmas Bread Moist, festive, and ready in under an hour. Ingredients • 2 cups all-purpose flour • 1 cup granulated sugar • 1 ½ tsp baking powder • ½ tsp baking soda • ½ tsp salt • 1 large egg • ¾ cup buttermilk (or milk with 1 tsp vinegar) • ⅓ cup melted butter (or oil) • 1 tsp vanilla extract • Zest of 1 large orange • 1 ½ cups fresh or frozen cranberries (no need to thaw) • Optional: ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans • Optional glaze: • ½ cup powdered sugar • 1–2 tbsp orange juice • ½ tsp orange zest Instructions 1. Prep Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a loaf pan with parchment. 2. Mix Dry Ingredients In a bowl, whisk together: • Flour • Sugar • Baking powder • Baking soda • Salt 3. Mix Wet Ingredients In a separate bowl whisk: • Egg • Buttermilk • Melted butter • Vanilla • Orange zest Pour wet into dry and mix gently until just combined. 4. Add Cranberries Fold in the cranberries (and nuts if using). Batter will be thick—that’s perfect. 5. Bake Pour into the loaf pan and bake 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean. 6. Glaze Whisk powdered sugar + orange juice + zest. Drizzle over cooled bread.
