Norman Eisen is an attorney, legal scholar and co-founder of Democracy Defenders Action. He served as special counsel to the House Judiciary Committee in 2019 and 2020 during the impeachment and trial of President Donald Trump. He previously served as U.S. ambassador to the Czech Republic and as special counsel to President Barack Obama. The following interview was conducted by Mike Wiser for FRONTLINE on March 24, 2025.
