Video Description

In this week's video, we go on the ultimate Scottish food tour in Edinburgh and Glasgow. Is Scottish food good? We begin our Scottish food tour in Edinburgh, with some breakfast at Snax Cafe. After trying fry-ups in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland, we finally get to try a Scottish fry-up! After our tasty breakfast, we head over to Bayne's, a Scottish bakery chain, to grab a few more items. First, we try their macaroni pie. Next up, we try a Scotch Pie. We finish up with one of their iced doughnuts. From here, we decide to go to The Haggis Box to try Scotland's national dish: haggis, with neeps and tatties. For our final snack in Edinburgh, we try an old-school local confectionery called Edinburgh Rock. It's now time to head to Glasgow, where we continue the next part of our Scottish food journey. We arrive at Glasgow Greens, where we try a well-fired roll. We also try Scotland's favorite soft drink, Irn-Bru (and two other variants). To go with our drinks, we try a variety of Scottish savory snacks, including Taylor's Crisps and Johnny's Rings. For our final snack, we try some Mackie's of Scotland chocolate. For our next sweet treat, we head to Glickman's Confectionary, a local sweet shop that has been in business for over 120 years! Here, we try their famous cream tablet. For our final stop of the day, we head to Ardnamurchan Scottish Restaurant & Bar. We went for their three-course menu, which included Cullen skink, a venison stew, and cranachan for dessert. On top of this, we also ordered some Shetland mussels and the "Best of Scotland" whisky flight. == Follow Us == β˜… Instagram - http://www.instagram.com/wherearewe.ig β˜… TikTok - http://www.tiktok.com/@wherearewe.tt β˜• Want to support us?
