In this week's video, we try Filipino desserts for the first time! To begin this sweet-filled food tour, we head to Power Plant Mall to visit two spots, Manam and Mary Grace. Here, we grab three different desserts: puto bumbong, bibingka galapong, and ensaymada. From here, we head to a nearby streetside vendor selling turon and kamote cue. Next up, we make our way to Milky Way Cafe to try one of the most well-known desserts of the Philippines, halo-halo. We also decide to try out another dessert called mais con hielo. Although it may seem strange, our next stop is at Bacolod Chicken Inasal. Not only do they serve delicious chicken, but they also have an impressive menu featuring a variety of Filipino desserts. Here, we find three more sweet treats to try. We start with their leche flan. We follow it up with buko fruit salad and maja blanca.
