Crowds watch their departure. They wave from the doorway to the aircraft. The BOAC plane takes off. 01:02:12 Jamaica. Scenic shots of a Jamaican beach. Local man on soundtrack describes the arrival of the royal party. L/S of the aircraft taxiing. M/S of the welcoming armed guard. C/U of the spectators watching the arrival. Her majesty opens Parliament - various shots inside Parliament building. Bluff Harbour - South Island, high angle shot of houses beside the harbour - royal yacht in background. M/S of the crowd waiting to see the Queen's departure. The Queen and Prince Philip shake hands with dignitaries and say goodbye. C/Us of children waving flags.
