This is the second property in a series where I’m cleaning up an entire overgrown city block—one yard at a time. The first project featured a huge transformation with help from a neighbor named Carlos, and now we’re moving on to the next house in need. When I arrived at this property, I had no idea how tough this one would be. The tenant told me, “It’s been like this for years,” and it showed. The yard had been left untouched after a major storm, with the landlord doing nothing to clean it up. Overgrowth had encroached on every part of the yard but the back yard was INSANE Luckily, another neighbor stepped in to help, and together we took this neglected yard from a storm-damaged mess to a clean, livable space. This video shows the full start-to-finish transformation, and it’s just the beginning of what’s coming for this block.
