On the seat nearby, a puppy named Milo was dozing, accompanying his owner on every trip since he was very young. Milo liked the road, but even more he liked the moments when the engine fell silent and the world around became calm. By evening the blizzard grew stronger, snow began to cover the tire tracks, and it became clear that it was better not to go any farther. The owner found a small clearing among the trees, turned off the engine, and lit the small fireplace inside the van. Warmth quickly filled the space, as if the van had turned into a tiny home hiding from the storm. Milo immediately understood that this place was safe. He settled onto his mat near the fire, pulled his favorite toys close, and let out a deep sigh — the kind of sigh made by those who know that everything for today is already done. Outside the van walls the wind howled and snow tapped against the windows, but inside there was only silence, fire, and the soft breathing of the sleeping puppy. This stop was not accidental — it was needed to rest, to wait out the storm, and to gather strength for the next part of the journey. And while the blizzard slowly circled around, the van stood still like a small island of warmth, and Milo slept, knowing that in the morning the road would continue again, but for now it was enough to simply close his eyes and listen as the night lulled the world to sleep."
