Armenia-Russia relations failed when the Armenia-Azerbaijan war over Nagorno-Karabakh coincided with the Russia-Ukraine war. Armenia-Iran relations are growing but Armenia's Western turn sets limits to that. Armenia and India are improving cooperation and Armenia's EU relations are seen very much in Armenia-Brussels links and also in Armenia-France cooperation. What about Armenia's relations with Georgia? And Armenia's difficult history with Turkey may impact on current relations. Armenia lost control of a huge amount of territory in its war with its Caucasus neighbour. Armenian PM Nikol Pashinyan has low popularity but little competition from Armenia's opposition. Armenia's defence spending has been raised. Will this be enough to protect it? Or does Armenia face defeat in another war? Will its enemy be Azerbaijan or a pan-Turkic opponent?
