It barely scratches the surface of the sheer magnitude this project entailed. The challenges, the mistakes, the tears, the changed plans, the stress and worry, but also the laughs, the lessons learned, the skills obtained and of course the satisfaction of finishing something so daunting.. We started renovating this home with 2 pairs of rose colored glasses, a tight budget, a scant collection of worn out tools, and a will strong enough to get us through the toughest times. Fear and worry were unwelcome but frequent guests throughout this project, but by the grace of God, one of us was always in a good enough head space to be able to see past the scary times and get the other back on track. We're happy to have this project behind us and to be moving on to something that seems little more manageable!
