From stained-glass windows rescued from the 1909 Seattle World’s Fair to carousel deer and chandeliers suspended in time, this place is full of surprises. Every corner leads to something different—ceramic Art Deco figures, mid-century glassware, liquor glasses from before Prohibition. Our friend Reina discovers a great deal on Ralph Lauren jewelry and finds joy in trying on vintage hats and western styles. Downstairs, a treasure trove awaits: 1920s store signs, Cabbage Patch Kids, French wardrobes, and a stage turned into a library. There are dugout cedar canoes, forgotten kitchenware, old advertising, and furniture that once lived in churches or country stores. A genuine sarcophagus and Gothic Revival church furnishings are among the relics awaiting us as we explore every nook and cranny of this huge block of vintage delights! We walk slowly, savoring each booth. Some finds make us laugh. Others feel like they belong in a museum. All of them make us stop. This is more than shopping.
