There, we snag our first find, a pretty set of Boopie glasses. Next up is another local spot with some incredible surprises—including a 1970s stoneware paperweight by a known designer for just $2.99! We also score an art glass signed paperweight at 25% off. 💍 We admire a stunning squash blossom necklace that's a bit out of our price range but take note of the shop’s high-quality selection. 🏠 At Habitat for Humanity ReStore, just down the parking lot, we discover devilishly cool lighting fixtures and a fascinating set of Hopi dancer prints. 🎨 Then it's on to a hidden thrift treasure tucked behind a warehouse-style building—loaded with surprises and also offering 25% off. The Navajo sand paintings here? An unbeatable deal. Our next local stop is Thrift, for Goodness Sake!—not just our motto today, but the name of the store. We leave with a sleek mid-century modern (MCM) aluminum piece we couldn’t resist. ♻️ After that, we hit not one, not two, but three Goodwill stores in town! At the first, we score a Pottery Craft vase featured in the book I wrote on that maker. The second location yields a quirky trophy and an unforgettable moment with a viewer from the Navajo Nation. 📚 Finally, we check out a brand-new Goodwill store located in a former Barnes & Noble. The collectible finds here are definitely worth the stop! With the Grand Canyon just a turn-off away, Flagstaff’s natural wonders are perfectly matched by its thrift store treasures.
