This is a pushrod V8, understressed, simple pushrod design, it should be bulletproof but are they? It seems ALL manufacturers suffer from this same fate, but WHY? This looks more normal 09:29 Removing the LH Head bolts and lifting the head 11:08 SCIENCE BANK TWO 11:24 Pulling the lifters.... Oh I see 12:25 Removing the harmonic balancer and timing cover 15:07 Inspecting the timing system, looks great! 16:43 Unbolting the oil pan, why is this so clean!? Suspicious! 17:44 Pulling the timing chain and sprocket, and sliding the camshaft out. OH THERE IT IS! 19:39 Rotating the engine over, pulling and dismantling the oil pump 22:44 Removing the first pair of rods and pistons 25:47 Unbolting the final two rods and pistons and pushing them out of the bores 26:49 Zipping out the main caps and plucking the crankshaft out 28:41 Complete rotating assembly inspection. Rods, pistons, bearings, rings, bores. Shame this sat outside :( 33:52 Summary
