Learning to Turn with Carbide Tools Learning to turn with carbide turning tools wasn’t on my to-do list. I am not a turner. I never wanted to be a turner. However, when charity called, I pulled up my Carhartt’s, bought a lathe and grabbed some Ultra Shear Carbide Turning Tools from Woodpeckers Tools. Why, you might ask? I was invited to be part of a collaboration called #ChiselsForChange on Instagram, with a handful of other makers, to create 2 unique chisels, in our own style, to be a part of 2 larger sets of chisels. These sets of chisels were graciously provided by Two Cherries Tools.
