The SSD in this video for expanding the PS5 Pro storage to 8TB is the 8TB version of the WD_Black SN850X and the heatsink is the Haechi H02 by SK Hynix. After showing the step by guide for installing the SSD and heatsink into the PS5 Pro, I also show how to format the SSD inside the PS5 Pro and its speed test result. I also show how long it takes to transfer a large game from the PS5 Pro's internal storage to the 8TB SSD and then show how long it takes to transfer the game back to the internal storage of the PS5 Pro. After doing the transfers and game copying I then work out the bitrate for the transfer speeds. Plus, I also test launching a game from the 8TB SSD to get a feel of how long it takes.
