how to make sweet and sour chicken[ASMR] Ingredients • 650g boneless chicken thighs • 10g ginger • 6 garlic cloves • White sesame seeds (optional) Marinade • Add ginger, garlic • 1 tbsp rice wine, 1/4 tsp salt, 1/4 tsp white pepper • Mix well, marinate 15 minutes Sauce • 3 tbsp ketchup, 2 tbsp vinegar, 1 tsp light soy sauce • 1 tbsp sugar, 2 tsp cornstarch • 1/8 tsp salt, 100ml water • Stir until smooth Coating • Dredge chicken in cornstarch, shake off excess • Let rest 5 minutes First Fry • Heat oil to 180°C (360°F), medium-low heat • Fry chicken until golden, crispy, and cooked through (about 5 min) Second Fry • Heat oil to 200°C (390°F), medium heat • Fry chicken for 30 seconds Sweet & Sour Chicken • Heat 2 tsp oil over medium heat • Pour in sauce, cook until thickened • Add chicken, toss to coat • Sprinkle sesame seeds (optional) 💡 Note: 1 tsp = 5ml, 1 tbsp = 15ml
